Carrie Prejean Fired

Carrie Prejean almost lost her crown as Miss California last month and now it has been knocked off for good. She has been fired.

Donald Trump, owner of the Miss USA Pageant, met with Prejean a month ago to determine her fate. She had two strikes against her then: she had posed topless when she was 17 and the pictures had just surfaced.

And when asked about gay marriage in the Miss USA pageant two months ago, she made it clear that she opposed it. Donald Trump spared her then, saying the pictures were “fine” and her answer to the same sex marriage question was “honest.”

He wanted her to have another chance. But even after that reprieve, Prejean failed to honor appearance and other contractual obligations and did not clear her extracurricular activities in advance. As a result, the pageant’s producer, Keith Lewis, backed 100% by Trump, made the decision to call it quits.

While Prejean claims to be shocked by the turn of events, Lewis says that in the last month she made it clear she had no desire at all to complete the contract or to work together.

Miss Malibu, Tami Farrell, earned the right to step into Miss California’s shoes as the first runner up in the Miss USA Pageant.

From Salt Lake City, Utah, the land of the LDS cult, comes the continuing saga of Utah State Senator Chris Buttars [yes, "Buttars" just like the South Park character that everyone thinks is gay] who cannot keep his stupid mouth shut.

He wasn’t punished for remarks; penalty was for talking about gay issues after agreeing not to.

Utah Sen. Chris Buttars «12»Utah Sen. Chris Buttars Senate leaders disciplined Sen. Chris Buttars, R-West Jordan, not for anti-gay comments he made in a recent interview, but because he violated a deal with leadership that he not talk about gay issues, a senator said Saturday.

“Most of what Senator Buttars said, I agree with [because I too am an ignorant member of the Moronic cult," Sen. Howard Stephenson, R-Draper, "We as a Senate caucus had an agreement that because Sen. Buttars had become such a lightning rod on this issue, he would not be the spokesman on this issue, and basically he violated that agreement."

Buttars was under fire for statements he made to a documentary filmmaker in which he compared homosexuals to radical Muslims, called them the greatest internal threat to America and said they had no morals.

Senate President Michael Waddoups, R-Taylorsville, announced Friday that he was removing Buttars from two committees: the Senate Judiciary, Law Enforcement and Criminal Justice Committee and the Senate Judicial Confirmation Committee, both of which Buttars had chaired.

In making the announcement, Waddoups said he was trying to ensure the Senate runs smoothly, but also noted that "we agree with many of the things he said [because all of us have been brainwashed to believe in the fictitious story known as the Book of Moron]“

“It happened, not because he said a lot of things wrong, but because he decided to be the spokesman again,” Stephenson said.

Mike Thompson, director of Equality Utah, was dissatisfied with Waddoups’ action in the first place. He said the Senate president hadn’t acknowledged that Buttars had failed to give the Common Ground Initiative bills, which sought protections for gay and lesbian rights, fair consideration, even though polls show they were supported by a majority of Utahns.

“It’s disappointing that there basically is no action or punishment for Buttars compromising the legislative process. His punishment is for not living up to his commitment to the caucus,” Thompson said. “His commitment should be to the people in his district, including his gay and transgender constituents, that he is going to participate fairly in the legislative process.”

Senate Republicans, including Buttars, reached an agreement at a day-long caucus Dec. 13 that Buttars should not comment on gay issues because he was such a polarizing figure. The agreement included a prohibition on speaking to the Common Ground bills.

But Buttars didn’t stay on the sidelines for long. Just a month later, he sat down with documentary filmmaker Reed Cowan for the hour-long interview for a project on California’s Proposition 8 against gay marriage, in which Buttars made the inflammatory statements.

A defiant Buttars objected to Waddoups’ decision, but said he would not be deterred from opposing rights for gays and said he would not apologize for any of his comments [because he continues to be a stupid ass . . . and a Moron.]

Gov. Jon Huntsman Jr. said in an interview Saturday that it is time to move beyond the latest Buttars flap. “I think we’ve talked enough about Sen. Buttars,” he said. “We need to get on to finishing the legislative session [and I need to go back to Salt Lake City to lick the sphincter of Prophet Monson.] We’ve only got a couple weeks left [of the session, and Monson is squealing each day that I need to eat his butt out.”

“The resolution passed by a 7 to 3 vote and now will move to the Assembly floor for a vote by the entire body. The Senate Judiciary committee is expected to soon take up the Senate resolution.”

LOS ANGELES — A Los Angeles college student [and bi-bull thumping mongoloid] is suing his school, saying he was deprived of his right to freedom of [hate] speech.

Jonathan Lopez [who, in spite of being profoundly mentally retarded and superstitious] says a public speaking professor berated him in class for making a speech opposing same-sex marriage. He says the professor wouldn’t allow him to finish and [correctly] called him a “fascist.”

Lopez is represented by the Alliance Defense Fund, a [a rabid bi-bull thumping cabal of]Christian legal [lackeys]. In a letter to the group, the dean says she considers the complaint “extremely serious in nature” and has begun a disciplinary investigation.

But the dean also wrote that two students were “deeply offended” by the speech [and were complaining of having to listen to Lopez’ mindless drivel about Jesus and other superstitions while being held captive in a boring speech class]. She quoted one as saying “this student should have to pay some price for preaching hate in the classroom.”

Lopez made the speech at Los Angeles City College in November, days after the passage of Proposition 8, which banned same-sex marriage in California.

        The Morons have a long history of bigotry.  Heck, how many religious leaders get to order a massacre of unbelievers?  Brigham Young may not have been the first false prophet of his cult, but he is arguably the most revered, and continues to be revered, although he is well known to have been a bigamist, murderer, fornicator, and pedophile.  Incredibly, he strongly believed that he was better than any black man or woman by virtue of his white skin alone.  

        It is no wonder that the mindless bigots who follow the LDS cult are so anti-gay.  LDS is anti-anything-that-is-not-LDS.

In light of the Federal Court’s refusal to gag critics of Prop 8 bigots, one must ask what became of Mrs. Hasson’s vows. Like the religious beliefs she seeks to perpetuate, Mrs. Hasson’s promises amounted to nothing but hot wind hissed from a very grumpy old maid. I seem to have correctly predicted that the full-page ad appearing in the New York Times that was sponsored by The Becket Fund, in which gays and lesbians were referred to as “violent” and “intimidating” “mobs” would amount to a whole lot of nothing. (You may recall that Mrs. Hasson went on to compare gays and lesbians with Al Qaida.)

Well, here they are – the clucking ladies of “The Becket Fund.” Feel free to let them know that their prudish sewing circle has done absolutely nothing to protect the Prop 8 bigots from public humiliation. But do be cordial. These little old ladies have delicate sensibilities:
